REAN Invites Stakeholders to its Renewable Energy Stakeholders’ Workshop on Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan

Integrating renewable energy to address Nigeria’s energy deficits has been considered a crucial action in reducing emissions and powering development, in line with the Nigeria Energy Transition Plan launched by the Federal Government in 2022.

Building on the success of the stakeholder’s dialogue on the Nigeria Energy Transition Plan (ETP), organized by the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN) with the support of the Heinrich Boell Stiftung in 2022, we are excited to invite stakeholders to our upcoming Renewable Energy Stakeholders’ Workshop on ETP. This workshop will focus on the theme “Charting the Path to a Sustainable Energy Future for Nigeria: Reviewing the Energy Transition Plan.” Aimed to review the Energy Transition Plan (ETP) considering its ambitious objectives and the collaborative efforts required from all stakeholders, including government bodies, industry experts, environmental advocates, and community representatives.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. (WAT) in Lagos. We encourage you to register early for this event and kindly mark your calendars to ensure you don’t miss it!
