REAN and Heinrich Böll Stiftung Hosts Key Stakeholders on Reviewing Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan
Renewable Energy stakeholders convened on Wednesday, 18th October 2023, at the Westwood Hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, to review and deliberate on the Energy Transition Plan (ETP) and its implications for Nigeria’s sustainable energy future. The workshop was organized by the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), with support from Heinrich Boell Stiftung.
The hybrid Renewable Energy Stakeholders’ Workshop, with the theme “Charting the Path to a Sustainable Energy Future for Nigeria: Reviewing the Energy Transition Plan,” welcomed high-level stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to discuss and review the Energy Transition Plan (ETP). Considering the ambitious objectives of the plan, the workshop highlighted the fact that collaborative efforts are required from all stakeholders to ensure the attainment of the Net Zero targets and the expansion of the renewable energy sector.
