Representatives from various private and public sectors attended, including the Edo State Investment Promotion Office, Edo State Skills Agency, Hydrogen Diplo Office GIZ, PIND Foundation, Transmission Company of Nigeria, BEDC Electricity Office, Odyssey, Energy Training Centre, Partners for Peace, MSMEs, media, and among others.
During the event, Mr Kelvin Owaibi, the MD/CEO of Edo State Investment Promotion Office (EDIPO), commended REAN for the sound initiative and expressed the Edo State Government’s satisfaction with the interest shown by businesses towards promoting renewable energy and addressing energy problems in the state. Participants at the roadshow shared the belief that renewable energy can be mutually beneficial solutions for Nigeria if utilized and managed in line with best practices.
Thanks to our partners, the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND Foundation) and the German-Nigerian Hydrogen Office, for their invaluable support in making the roadshow a reality. Special thanks go to the representatives from the Edo State Government, sister organizations, speakers, and participants who contributed to the event’s success.
As we continue to raise awareness across all 36 states, the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria remains open to further partnerships and support. We look forward to the next roadshow edition and hope to see you there!
