Stakeholder Dialogue on Nigeria Energy Transition Plan

November 29, 2022

The Federal Government of Nigeria through Vice President, H.E Yemi Osinbajo and SEforAll launched Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan (NETP) on 24th August 2022. The Nigeria Energy Transition Plan is a multipronged strategy developed for the achievement of net zero emissions by 2060. While this is a commendable step in the right direction, there is a need to assist stakeholders in the energy sector to understand their roles and the related existing opportunities within the energy transition plan.

REAN, in furtherance of its efforts towards the transition to net zero, with support from Heinrich Boell Stiftung and GOGLA will bring together key stakeholders and governments (including Office of the Vice President, Federal Ministry of Power, SEforAll and McKinsey) with energy professionals for critical engagement on unbundling the Nigeria Energy Transition to facilitate stakeholders’ understanding.

You are cordially invited to the “Stakeholder Dialogue on Nigeria Energy Transition Plan” scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 6th December at 9:00 am (WAT).
