In 2021, the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), with Heinrich Böll Stiftung Nigeria (HBS), embarked on a study to uncover barriers that limit the mobilization and administration of funds for rural electrification in Nigeria. As an association dedicated to promoting the growth and development of the renewable energy industry in Nigeria, REAN will be hosting a 2-Day Stakeholder Engagement on Financing for Rural Electrification and the Renewable Energy sector.

Part of this event will be the launching of the study report and engaging stakeholders on ways to improve and expand funding and the operationalization of funding channels to deliver reliable electricity for the large population of unserved and underserved Nigerians in rural communities.

The event is scheduled as follows;

Date:     31st May – 1st June 2022
Time:    9am – 2pm
